Richemont seeks a Watchmaker Level 1 in Fort Worth, TX — an entry-level horological role focused on assembly, service and precision diagnostics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assemble, disassemble and reassemble mechanical watch movements to brand technical specifications.
  • Perform diagnostics, regulation and timing adjustments using precision instruments (timegrapher, micrometers, loupes).
  • Execute routine servicing and component replacement while documenting work in service records.
  • Carry out fine finishing, cleaning (including ultrasonic cleaning) and lubrication following prescribed procedures.
  • Adhere to quality-control standards and report non-conforming parts to senior watchmakers or quality teams.
  • Maintain workbench organisation, instrument calibration and safe handling of small components.
  • Collaborate with senior technicians for complex repairs and participate in on-the-job training.

Qualifications

  • Vocational diploma or certificate in watchmaking (WOSTEP, equivalent regional watchmaking qualification, or completion of a recognised apprenticeship).
  • Demonstrable manual dexterity, excellent visual acuity and steady hand control under magnification.
  • Familiarity with mechanical calibres, escapements and basic regulation principles.
  • Comfort with technical documentation, service manuals and precise record-keeping.
  • Commitment to brand quality standards and confidentiality when handling luxury timepieces.
