A. Lange & Söhne Watch Advisor – Luxury Boutique Sales Role in Singapore. Drive sales, manage VIP relationships, and embody brand excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve personal sales budgets in accordance with brand retail strategy and group procedures, ensuring compliance with legal, fiscal, and customs regulations
- Maximize profit margins whilst controlling and minimizing operational costs, including discounts, general expenses, and third-party commissions
- Regularly analyze missed confirmed sales with management to refine future sales projections and improve performance
- Organize and execute private viewings and consultations with high-net-worth individuals and VIP prospects in the region
- Develop business opportunities and action plans for potential clients in partnership with boutique management
- Demonstrate exemplary brand ambassadorial conduct at all times with clients, VIPs, and external stakeholders
- Ensure service excellence and optimal client welcoming, handling, and aftercare within the boutique environment
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and serve as a reference specialist for the Maison
- Actively participate in VIP recruitment and customer relationship management, building and maintaining a curated prospect database for sales and marketing initiatives
- Handle client complaints with care and professionalism, immediately escalating brand product-related issues to management
- Coordinate and follow up on individual repairs and after-sales service matters with sales administration
- Oversee routine boutique inventory management, including monthly and quarterly stocktaking and prevention of stock discrepancies
- Manage automatic replenishment of sold timepieces and coordinate active order requests
- Ensure proper maintenance of boutique timepieces, including strap changes, polishing, and servicing scheduling
- Process credit card transactions and cash register operations with accuracy and adherence to compliance procedures
- Maintain the boutique's appearance and visual merchandising standards in accordance with brand guidelines and concept specifications
- Report opportunities, incidents, and operational improvements to management in a timely manner
- Share best practices, ideas, and product knowledge with boutique and office colleagues to enhance overall operations
- Actively participate in boutique training sessions and role-plays to develop client experience and product expertise
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail, preferably in watches, jewelry, or haute horlogerie
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed personal sales targets consistently
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English
- Strong product knowledge, brand awareness, and ability to learn complex horological details
- Expertise in building and maintaining high-net-worth client relationships
- Proficiency in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
- Impeccable personal presentation and adherence to luxury brand standards
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and share knowledge with colleagues
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in luxury retail, luxury watches, or high-end jewelry retail. Prior experience in a boutique or direct-to-consumer luxury environment is strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining client relationships in a prestige goods environment.
Education
Secondary education (or equivalent); additional training or certification in horology, gemology, or luxury retail is advantageous but not required.
