Cartier Visual Merchandising Manager position in Dubai, UAE. Lead VM strategy, network animation, and team development across retail locations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy in collaboration with product marketing, business planning, and commercial teams to support product launches and enhance cross-selling opportunities
  • Enhance product visibility and maximize offer performance across the entire retail network through strategic microzoning and display optimization
  • Assess the specific characteristics and clientele of each boutique to design customized VM plans and initiatives that drive enhanced client experience and business performance
  • Analyze product category and collection performance by boutique to adapt VM strategy and action plans for visible display, window presentations, and hot spot positioning
  • Implement international window and showcase concepts for boutiques, pop-ups, and watch specialists, ensuring alignment with local calendars and key product launches
  • Develop bespoke decor and specialized window displays for significant local events and celebrations, coordinating with regional and international VM teams
  • Deliver leadership and training programs to enhance the Visual Merchandising skills of the boutique community
  • Lead the VM community by providing functional guidance, support, and comprehensive guidelines to empower retail teams in managing VM within their boutiques
  • Manage and oversee the Visual Merchandising budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spending and sustainable resource optimization
  • Collaborate with finance and relevant departments to ensure accurate budget management, prepare forecasts, and track expenses against projections to meet financial targets

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, preferably in retail or selective distribution
  • Strong understanding of luxury industry environments and the ability to translate this into visual excellence at the point of sale
  • Clear comprehension of retail and distribution channels within luxury markets
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; expertise in Photoshop and AutoCAD is advantageous
