Panerai seeks VP of Marketing & Communications for North America in New York. Lead omnichannel strategy, brand positioning, and team of marketing professionals. $220k–$248k annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own strategic allocation and accountability of the advertising and promotion budget, ensuring clear ROI tied to regional P&L
  • Drive integrated marketing and communications strategies across all departments including retail, wholesale, ecommerce, finance, operations, and human resources
  • Serve as a key member of the North America Executive Committee and primary strategic partner with headquarters
  • Define and localize the Maison's brand narrative for North America, adapting global guidelines for product launches and messaging
  • Oversee integrated media strategy spanning digital, print, social, and out-of-home advertising channels, directing agency partnerships
  • Cultivate relationships within entertainment, sports, and cultural industries to secure high-visibility brand placements and manage local brand reputation
  • Define strategic vision for the B2C event calendar, encompassing approximately 300 annual events with built-in ROI measurement
  • Own North America CRM strategy in partnership with commercial leaders, championing client-centric engagement and designing personalized client journeys
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and communications team, fostering innovation and operational agility

Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of progressive marketing and communications experience, with at least 7 years leading cross-functional teams
  • Extensive background in luxury, premium retail, or hospitality sectors
  • Deep understanding of the luxury consumer, brand codes, and North American market dynamics
  • Proven track record in strategic advertising and promotion budget management with measurable ROI
  • Demonstrated success driving transformational organizational change
  • Exceptional executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
