Richemont seeks Vendor Master Data Specialist in Milan to manage SAP MDGS vendor records, supplier onboarding, and data governance for 12 months (fixed-term).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, deactivate, and block vendor records in MDGS system while ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established data standards
  • Serve as primary contact for suppliers, communicating data requirements, guiding submission processes, and collecting essential documentation such as commercial registration, tax identification, and beneficiary bank details
  • Collaborate with business requesters and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, identify data discrepancies, and resolve issues proactively with suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and vendor master data procedures while maintaining comprehensive and current process documentation
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancement within MDGS; participate in projects to implement new features and contribute to data standards development

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in vendor master data management, procurement principles, or related field
  • Strong familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, SAP MDG S, or Oracle
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced expertise in Excel
  • Fluency in Italian and English; additional language proficiency highly valued
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Outstanding attention to detail, organizational discipline, and time management abilities
