Role & Responsibilities

• Produce prototypes of turned components and perform precise adjustments to launch small-series production runs, ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment during emergency repairs and execute preventive maintenance routines to minimize downtime
• Participate in the installation of complex systems and conduct thorough equipment inspections under supervision
• Operate advanced machinery, adjust various parameters to optimize quality and productivity, and develop solutions to recurring inefficiencies
• Perform detailed analyses, quality testing, and inspections requiring a high degree of independent judgment
• Provide operational support by executing routine activities using established systems and protocols
• Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and precision in all tasks, contributing to overall production efficiency and quality
• Organize work schedules effectively in coordination with support services and delegate short-term tasks as needed
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve common objectives and improve overall productivity
• Comply with organizational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and instructions to identify and mitigate risks
• Develop a thorough understanding of relevant organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes to ensure compliance, seeking supervisor authorization for any deviations
• Participate in assessment and planning activities, formal and informal training, and mentoring to enhance technical skills and processes
• Use internal communication systems to access and disseminate specific information

Qualifications

• Upper secondary education diploma
• Experienced practitioner capable of working independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to operate precision machinery and adjust complex parameters
• Strong understanding of quality control and production efficiency standards
• Ability to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
• Ability to conduct detailed quality testing and inspections independently
• Limited management experience with potential for growth in supervisory roles

Experienced practitioner with demonstrated competency in precision manufacturing and turned parts production. Must be capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision and possess a strong track record in equipment operation, maintenance, and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.

Education
