Richemont seeks a Treasury Accountant (CDD) in Villars-sur-Glâne: contract role managing cash, bank reconciliations and treasury accounting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity across group bank accounts and currencies.
- Prepare and post treasury-related accounting entries and perform regular bank and cash account reconciliations.
- Lead month-end treasury close activities, prepare treasury schedules and deliver timely management reporting.
- Execute and control payments, intercompany cash movements and cash pooling processes; maintain relationships with banks and payment providers.
- Support short- and medium-term cash forecasting, liquidity planning and working capital monitoring.
- Assist with accounting for FX exposures and hedging instruments, ensuring correct treatment under applicable accounting standards.
- Maintain and improve internal controls over treasury processes and respond to audit requests.
- Drive process improvements and support the implementation and optimisation of treasury/ERP workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum three years’ experience in treasury accounting, corporate treasury or corporate finance within a multinational environment.
- Solid understanding of treasury accounting, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting and intercompany cash management.
- Familiarity with IFRS and Swiss/local accounting principles; experience supporting external and internal audits.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA or equivalent) or advanced treasury certification is an advantage.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive treasury accounting or corporate finance experience, preferably within an international group. Demonstrated experience in multi-currency cash management, bank relationship management and month-end treasury close processes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related; professional accounting qualification preferred.
