Richemont seeks a Trade Compliance Process & Data Expert in Villars-sur-Glâne, Switzerland, to manage global trade operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Formalize and optimize trade compliance processes across global operations, encompassing import, export, special procedures, duties, and free trade agreements, including corresponding data management guidelines
  • Provide consulting and training services to internal stakeholders across Maisons, Regions, and Functions on trade compliance processes, regulatory requirements, and system-driven solutions
  • Analyze support requests for trade compliance implementation solutions and frame appropriate system and data enhancements to deliver effective and efficient outcomes
  • Monitor and analyze trade compliance KPIs, serve as data quality control tower, and exercise data stewardship for contributed data under departmental responsibility and Data Governance
  • Conduct root-cause analyses and lead continuous process improvement initiatives to ensure robustness and long-term performance of trade compliance operations
  • Support broader strategic projects as a subject matter expert and stream lead, leveraging comprehensive expertise in trade compliance data management and processes

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in trade compliance in an international environment
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and trade regulatory domains, including HS commodity codes, regulatory documentation, policy interpretation, and international logistics operational flows
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP and SAP GTS systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, filtering, lookup functions, and pivot table analysis
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
  • Consultative, cooperative interpersonal style with demonstrated customer focus
  • Proactive mindset committed to challenging the status quo and supporting continuous improvement
