Role & Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and prioritize activities across tooling design, CNC programming, and mechanical departments
• Develop consolidated workload visibility across short, medium, and long-term horizons
• Ensure optimal resource allocation based on team competencies and business priorities
• Identify and mitigate risks of workforce overload or underutilization through proactive interventions
• Conduct regular capacity-utilization analysis and workload assessments across departments
• Challenge team estimates and execution timelines to drive continuous improvement
• Adapt priorities dynamically to optimize overall operational performance
• Provide arbitration when capacity constraints limit fulfillment of internal requests
• Serve as primary liaison with Process Engineers and Workshop Managers regarding requests and deadlines
• Negotiate and secure realistic commitments; ensure consistent performance against agreements
• Communicate proactively on risks, performance deviations, and corrective action plans
• Define individual and collective performance objectives; mentor team capability development
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement
• Standardize planning and workflow management methodologies across all departments

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent discipline
• Proven experience managing technical teams with responsibility for activity oversight, planning, and industrial project management
• Solid expertise in machining, tooling design, and CNC programming processes
• Demonstrated capability in workforce capacity planning and resource optimization

Experience

Confirmed experience in technical team management with demonstrated responsibility for activity oversight, planning, and industrial project delivery. Solid knowledge of machining, tooling design, and CNC programming methodologies required.

Education

Higher education qualification in mechanical engineering, industrialization, or industrial engineering discipline.
