Richemont seeks a Time & Methods Specialist (maternity cover) in Scandicci, Italy to drive production efficiency and standardise manufacturing methods.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct time studies and work‑measurement analyses to establish standard times and labour requirements for production operations.
  • Map and analyse manufacturing processes, identify bottlenecks and develop improvement proposals to increase productivity and reduce waste.
  • Define and document standard work instructions, balancing procedures and ergonomic best practices for artisanal and line production.
  • Collaborate with production managers, supervisors, quality and planning to implement process changes and monitor KPIs.
  • Support pilot runs, line layout adjustments and capacity assessments; translate findings into actionable improvement plans.
  • Train operators and supervisors on standard times, new methods and continuous‑improvement tools; prepare clear technical reports and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proven knowledge of work measurement techniques (time study, MTM or equivalent) and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to translate data into actionable process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and operator training.
