Cartier Paris: Technical Data Manager, Packaging (6-month contract) supporting PLM implementation in industrial operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Enter, structure, and update technical packaging data within the PLM system
  • Guarantee quality, consistency, and completeness of all integrated data
  • Verify technical specification compliance including drawings, technical specifications, and bill of materials
  • Identify data inconsistencies or missing information and alert relevant teams
  • Support data referential structuring initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to collect and consolidate technical data
  • Ensure coordination with industrial direction teams for critical information validation
  • Update technical specifications for packaging articles
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation throughout PLM lifecycle
  • Propose improvements to data entry and management practices
  • Optimize PLM-related processes and workflows
  • Contribute to continuous enhancement of technical database quality and reliability

Qualifications

  • Background in packaging engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging materials and manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding associated data
  • Strong aptitude for data management with meticulous attention to detail
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to rapidly identify inconsistencies
  • Proven organizational ability and reliability
  • Experience working effectively in cross-functional team environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with PLM and/or SAP systems (preferred)
