Cartier seeks a Technical Data Management Specialist (6-month fixed-term contract) in Paris to support PLM system deployment for the perfumes division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and migrate the master database in preparation for full system transition to PLM, ensuring completeness of all technical documentation
  • Enter, structure, and update quality and technical data within the PLM system with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Guarantee the quality, consistency, and exhaustiveness of all integrated data through systematic verification
  • Conduct post-creation compliance audits of technical information to identify and flag discrepancies or omissions to relevant teams
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality and Industrialisation teams to collect, consolidate, and validate critical technical data from across the industrial division
  • Coordinate updates to all affected documentation, including finished product specifications, control protocols, and product range materials
  • Propose enhancements to data entry practices and PLM management workflows to optimize process efficiency
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and reliability of technical databases through proactive quality oversight

Qualifications

  • Prior professional experience in the fragrance or cosmetics industry, with familiarity of diverse packaging formats
  • Background in quality assurance or technical data management functions
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and associated technical specifications
  • Strong aptitude for data management with demonstrated rigor and meticulous attention to detail
  • Analytical and critical mindset with the ability to rapidly identify inconsistencies or gaps
  • Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in complex organisational environments
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PLM systems and/or SAP is valued
