Richemont seeks an Accounting Team Leader in Fribourg to lead GL operations, manage a small accounting team, and drive month-end closings in the luxury sector.
Role & Responsibilities
- Pilot and coordinate accounting operations across assigned entities, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines
- Prepare and record month-end and period-end closing entries
- Conduct critical review of GL and Senior GL accountant work products
- Prepare, explain, and present monthly reporting to the department director
- Document, monitor, and ensure implementation of internal control procedures
- Manage and lead a small team of GL and Senior GL accountants
- Coach team members and support their professional development and skills progression
- Provide technical accounting guidance to resolve complex GL issues
- Set departmental priorities, coordinate activities, and drive achievement of performance objectives
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal clients (branches, maisons, functions) on general accounting matters
- Lead and contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives
- Promote and ensure application of Group accounting standards
Qualifications
- Federal accounting certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of accounting experience with GL responsibilities, preferably in an international environment
- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, CO)
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel
- Native French speaker with excellent English proficiency
- Team management experience is a strong asset

Federal accounting certificate or equivalent professional qualification in accounting.
