Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring adherence to financial standards and best practices
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and accounting records
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and workflow processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to support professional development
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing accounting teams or staff in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise systems

5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is preferred
