Richemont seeks a Tax Manager in São Paulo to lead Brazilian tax compliance, planning and audits for its local entities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end tax compliance for the Brazilian legal entities, including preparation and filing of corporate income tax, payroll taxes and indirect tax returns.
- Oversee tax provision calculations and month‑/year‑end tax accounting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and group policies.
- Design and implement tax planning and optimisation strategies aligned with local legislation and Richemont’s global tax framework.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation and intercompany pricing issues in coordination with regional and central tax teams.
- Coordinate and supervise responses to tax audits, inquiries and disputes, liaising with external advisors and tax authorities as required.
- Provide technical tax support to business stakeholders on transactions, restructurings, new product introductions and commercial contracts.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Brazilian tax law developments and assess their operational and financial impact.
- Drive improvements in tax processes, controls and reporting, and contribute to tax risk management and governance initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Finance or Economics; advanced degree or specialised tax qualification is an advantage.
- Professional registration or recognised accounting/legal certification preferred (e.g., CRC or equivalent).
- Strong technical knowledge of Brazilian direct and indirect taxation and transfer pricing rules.
- Proven experience managing tax compliance, audits and tax accounting for multinational companies.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex tax legislation and to provide practical, commercial advice to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with capacity to coordinate external advisors and cross‑functional teams.

Experience
Minimum five years of relevant tax experience, with at least three years in a role involving corporate tax compliance and interaction with tax authorities; prior exposure to multinational group reporting and transfer pricing preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Finance or Economics; professional tax or accounting qualification preferred.
