Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead intake meetings with hiring managers to assess vacancies, share candidate profiles from established talent pipelines, define interview cadence, and provide labor market intelligence
  • Interview potential candidates against position-specific competencies, conduct exploratory calls to identify high-potential talent, and serve as brand ambassador in maintaining referral relationships
  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines utilizing the ATS, social media, job boards, and field recruitment with consistent outreach to passive candidates
  • Provide hiring managers with diverse, timely candidate shortlists and maintain high-touch candidate experience throughout the hiring process
  • Conduct active sourcing and direct candidate generation using various search tools, processes, and recruitment strategies
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with hiring managers, commercial leaders, and HR business partners to understand organizational needs and provide strategic market feedback
  • Create recruitment strategies by maison and function to minimize time-to-fill and coordinate with the AVP of Talent
  • Participate in staffing committees and talent-sharing meetings to identify strong candidates, facilitate talent exchanges, and maintain robust internal talent pipelines
  • Manage external recruitment vendor contracts and relationships, engaging agencies on key searches
  • Facilitate connections with external recruitment agencies, educational institutions, and community stakeholders
  • Lead coordination and attendance at local job fairs and college recruitment events to build candidate pipelines
  • Create engaging digital job advertisements optimized for social media platforms
  • Track, analyze, and communicate recruitment metrics including interviews, placements, retention, and agency submissions and spending
  • Maintain detailed ATS records with comprehensive candidate notes and submissions
  • Present recruitment activity summaries and labor market intelligence to executive and senior leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in retail recruitment, particularly at the boutique level
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume requisition counts (20+) while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment of retail sales associates at the field level
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail sector, including its history, heritage, and craftsmanship values
  • Proven ability to work across multiple time zones with flexibility to meet diverse organizational needs
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated empathy in working with diverse populations
  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively across organizational levels
  • Strong presentation and reporting capabilities
  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to confidentiality in human resources functions
