ALAÏA Stylist in New York City — luxury retail sales and boutique client relations role with competitive benefits and $25–$29 hourly compensation.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to weekly and monthly store sales targets and KPIs while driving average basket growth through upselling and cross-selling strategies
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term client relationships through personalized service, attentive listening, and strategic follow-up
  • Develop and execute action plans to grow individual client base and participate in client events and engagement activities
  • Welcome clients in-boutique, by phone, and via email according to ALAÏA service standards and brand guidance
  • Manage and update client database, capturing detailed qualitative information and implementing personalized reach-out campaigns within omnichannel framework
  • Demonstrate expert product knowledge across ready-to-wear and accessories collections, articulating ALAÏA's design narrative and craftsmanship
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, boutique cleanliness, and back-of-house excellence in line with Maison specifications
  • Execute daily operations including cash desk management, inventory counts, and team meetings as required
  • Comply with security protocols, grooming standards, and all Richemont policies while maintaining an impeccable personal presentation as a brand ambassador
  • Address client concerns promptly, investigate issues, and escalate complex matters to leadership with recommendations for service excellence

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in luxury fashion, accessories, or ready-to-wear retail sales and operations
  • Proficiency in sales techniques and clienteling methodologies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication abilities
  • Warm, engaging personality with proven capacity to build rapport and foster long-term relationships
  • Deep familiarity with ALAÏA's Maison heritage, creative vision, and brand values
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communications
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds regularly
  • Flexibility to work open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
