Richemont seeks a Strategic Sourcing Manager, Store Construction in New York to lead procurement for retail build‑outs and FF&E across the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic sourcing strategies for store construction, FF&E and technical fit‑outs across the assigned geography.
- Lead tendering processes (RFP/RFQ), evaluate vendor proposals and manage supplier selection and on‑boarding.
- Negotiate commercial terms, master service agreements and purchase contracts to achieve cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Partner with project managers, design and construction teams to align procurement timelines with store opening schedules.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, scorecards and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Control and report on construction procurement budgets, forecasts and cost‑saving initiatives.
- Mitigate supply‑chain and contractual risks, ensuring compliance with corporate procurement policies and local regulations.
- Drive standardisation of specifications, preferred vendor lists and procurement templates across regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related discipline.
- Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) preferred.
- Proven track record of leading procurement for retail store construction, FF&E or large fit‑out projects.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating complex commercial contracts and managing multimillion‑dollar supplier relationships.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost modelling and TCO analysis.
- Ability to operate in a matrixed, multicultural environment and manage stakeholders at senior levels.
