Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the development, growth, and strategic management of comprehensive sourcing plans and projects within key spend areas, including luxury retail construction, ensuring alignment with Richemont Americas' core requirements for quality, delivery, and cost
- Direct and optimize the vendor selection process across specialized categories including general contractors, architects, and millworkers, leveraging best-practice principles and mastering complex RFx events
- Conduct in-depth bid leveling, expert negotiations, and develop robust, legally sound contracts for construction and related services
- Drive close collaboration with global Category Managers in Central Procurement, Richemont Maisons, and Functions to implement and evolve procurement strategy, policy, and procedures
- Conduct comprehensive market research, sophisticated spend analysis, and supplier landscape assessments to identify cost reduction, process improvement, and innovation opportunities
- Develop and maintain a construction supplier and contractor database, tracking performance feedback and cost data to enhance benchmarking and cost visibility
- Lead procurement forums and deliver continuous training on compliance requirements, strategic sourcing methodologies, and harmonization opportunities
- Strategically manage supplier performance reviews, drive remediation efforts, lead re-negotiations, and implement total cost of ownership (TCO) reduction strategies
- Lead identification and realization of strategic cost savings opportunities through thorough analysis and expert application of advanced cost management and quantity surveying principles to construction projects
- Develop insightful team reporting based on advanced data analyses, create compelling presentations, and present strategic findings to leadership and Maisons
- Champion development of creative, value-focused, and innovative sourcing strategies aligned with evolving business needs and market dynamics
- Continuously evaluate, drive, and implement innovative procurement process improvements that generate efficiency gains and enhance compliance
- Support HQ Responsible Sourcing alignment and ensure all suppliers adhere to the Richemont Supplier Code of Conduct
- Align sourcing activities with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) objectives and integrate these principles into the RFx process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within a luxury retail environment
- Proven expertise in leading complex RFx processes, advanced negotiation strategies, and comprehensive contract management, specifically within construction or real estate development
- Project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a cross-functional team within a matrix structure
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
- Specific experience in luxury retail real estate development or store design and construction (preferred)
- Strong understanding and practical experience with quantity surveying principles and cost management in construction projects (preferred)
- Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or RICS for Quantity Surveying (preferred)
- Experience with e-procurement platforms and ERP systems such as SAP Ariba or Coupa (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of global trade regulations and international sourcing best practices (preferred)
