Montblanc seeks Strategic Production Planner in Hamburg, Germany. Lead production capacity planning and S&OP initiatives in a luxury manufacturing environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and forecast mid-term and long-term production capacity requirements for the writing instruments manufacturing division
- Initiate and evaluate in-sourcing and outsourcing activities, and develop capacity adjustment measures
- Serve as liaison between Supply Chain Management, Production, and Procurement departments
- Drive and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for operations
- Validate operational planning initiatives and provide solution-oriented support for realizing optimization potential
- Advance system development (including SAP) and enable users in system utilization
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification
- Several years of experience in capacity and resource planning within a manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge and deep expertise with SAP (ECC and APO)
- Ability to challenge established practices and introduce innovations
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented capabilities
- Fluent German and English proficiency at negotiation level
- High service and excellence orientation
Skills
Experience
Several years of experience in capacity and resource planning within a manufacturing organization, with demonstrated success in strategic production planning and S&OP initiatives.
Education
Master's degree or comparable professional qualification in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
