Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate design development from concept to construction documentation, ensuring consistency with Piaget's architectural standards and brand identity
- Manage external design specialists including architects, 3D artists, and consultants
- Collaborate with headquarters retail, visual merchandising, and commercial teams to optimize retail experience and operational efficiency
- Lead projects from investment validation through construction close-out, developing and controlling budgets, CAPEX, and planning
- Drive tendering processes, technical evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract awards
- Manage procurement, purchase orders, change orders, and financial reporting
- Coordinate permitting, landlord approvals, and local authority relations
- Act as key stakeholder with Group Procurement, Real Estate, Legal, and external partners throughout project lifecycle
- Manage all construction phases ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to Piaget's quality and sustainability standards
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation and recovery plans
- Coordinate regional maintenance and post-opening programs including snagging, retrofit projects, and minor works
- Maintain regular communication with commercial teams and boutique directors across Europe
- Ensure compliance with Piaget brand standards, quality, and sustainability objectives
- Serve as primary headquarters interface for the Europe Region, coordinating regional markets for boutique construction and maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Construction Project Management
- At least 7 years specifically in luxury store planning and construction
- Proven track record delivering international retail projects within the luxury industry or premium brands
- Solid understanding of luxury design, construction processes, and operational excellence
- Extensive experience managing Executive Architects, Quantity Surveyors, General Contractors, and specialist consultants
- Strong knowledge of procurement, tender management, commercial negotiations, and cost control
- Professional fluency in English and French
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
