Cartier Paris: Store Openings & Visual Merchandising Projects Manager (Contract). Lead VM strategy for boutique openings and renovations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage visual merchandising aspects of store openings and renovations within designated geographic areas
- Collaborate with Market and Commercial Teams to utilize the Space Management Tool and define macro-zoning aligned with Visual Merchandising strategy
- Partner with the Merchandising team to ensure seamless integration of product strategy into store layouts
- Liaise with Store Design Planning on opening and renovation projects to ensure optimal space utilization in accordance with the Maison's strategy
- Identify and drive continuous visual merchandising improvements across boutiques, providing constructive feedback on store furniture
- Propose recommendations and adaptations for optimal visual merchandising solutions with worldwide follow-up
- Lead and contribute to transversal projects in collaboration with other departments to sustain business growth
- Develop comprehensive guidelines for in-store animations and floral decorations with oversight of worldwide rollout
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Business School or Architectural School
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in visual merchandising or store design
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in an international environment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of architecture and design principles
- Proficiency in reading floor plans
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Strong product and client orientation with image-driven aesthetic sensibility
- Passionate about visual merchandising with creative, curious, and collaborative disposition
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or related store operations role. Demonstrated experience managing store openings, renovations, or large-scale retail projects with cross-functional team coordination in an international context.
Education
Graduate degree from a Business School or Architectural School.
