Cartier Stone Setter position in Paris, France. Secure precious stones on fine jewelry and timepieces with craftsmanship and precision.
Role & Responsibilities
- Press and secure diamonds and precious stones onto jewelry, objects, watch components, and eyewear frames while maintaining strict quality, scheduling, and safety standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment for emergency repairs and execute preventive maintenance routines to ensure optimal operational performance
- Participate in the installation of complex systems and perform equipment inspections under supervision, ensuring compliance with operational standards
- Operate sophisticated machinery by adjusting various parameters to achieve superior quality and productivity while identifying and correcting recurring inefficiencies
- Provide operational support by executing routine tasks according to established systems and protocols
- Adhere to mandatory organizational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to mitigate risk and protect personnel welfare
- Perform detailed analysis, quality testing, and inspections requiring high levels of independent judgment to guarantee product excellence
- Maintain and develop advanced technical and process competencies through participation in assessment, development planning activities, and formal and informal training
- Organize and manage personal work schedule to ensure task execution, coordinating support services and delegating short-term tasks as necessary
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail to ensure all work meets the luxury standards expected by the organization
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to achieve shared objectives and enhance overall productivity

Qualifications
- Secondary education diploma (high school level)
- Experienced practitioner capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated expertise in stone-setting techniques and jewelry craftsmanship
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to luxury quality standards
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and work specifications
- Limited managerial experience acceptable; capability to mentor junior staff if required
