Vacheron Constantin seeks an experienced Specialist Watchmaker in Beverly Hills to diagnose and service luxury timepieces across all caliber types.
Role & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate watches, clocks, and accessories to determine appropriate service and repair strategies, considering product history, warranty status, physical condition, and movement tolerances
- Perform technical repairs on timepieces across all caliber types, including quartz, mechanical, automatic, chronographs, and complications
- Maintain and organize the workshop environment, ensuring all watchmaking equipment, polishing tools, and laser welders are properly calibrated, maintained on a regular schedule, and accessibly arranged
- Conduct immediate technical assessments and communicate diagnostic findings to sales associates and clients in a precise, professional manner
- Ensure compliance with all Richemont Americas Health and Safety guidelines governing chemicals, equipment, and tools
- Participate in routine technical skills evaluation, practical training, quality control interpretation, and theoretical knowledge assessments as administered by Richemont Technical Services
- Communicate proactively with boutique personnel, management, sales associates, and clients regarding service progress, scheduling, quality issues, and feedback on product components and equipment performance
- Participate in brand-sponsored events, including masterclasses, product launches, and VIP events to represent the Maison and maintain brand excellence
- Complete brand training at the Richemont Training Center on refresher calibers, processes, tolerances, equipment, tools, and brand objectives
- Provide feedback to the Technical Operations Regional Manager regarding quality issues discovered during repair processes affecting components, tools, and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Accredited watchmaking diploma or certification, or equivalent abilities validated through examination by Richemont
- Minimum 5–10 years of professional watchmaking experience
- Demonstrated expertise in repairing higher complications and calibers
- Retail working experience, preferably within luxury brands
- Proficiency with SAP or similar enterprise software systems
- Authorized to work in the United States without employment restrictions

Experience
Minimum 5–10 years of professional watchmaking experience is preferred. Retail working experience is preferred, particularly within the luxury sector. Watchmaking proficiency will be assessed based on years of experience and demonstrated ability to repair higher complications and calibers; candidates must be capable of performing all functions of watchmaking as determined by the offered level.
Education
Accredited watchmaking diploma or certification required. Candidates without formal credentials may be considered if they can validate equivalent abilities through an examination administered by Richemont.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 per annum.
