Piaget seeks a Spare Parts Planner in Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland. Manage global supply chain for watch and jewelry spare parts with SAP expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage complete supply chain lifecycle for assigned spare parts categories, including procurement order creation, monitoring, and cost/quality/lead-time optimization
- Conduct demand analysis and plan parts requirements across operational cycles, ensuring timely availability for global repair platforms
- Identify and resolve component shortages through root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action plans
- Monitor and optimize stock levels across all distribution points, maintaining data integrity for logistics master records
- Process modification requests and track new product introductions within the spare parts portfolio
- Serve as primary contact for market-facing inquiries, addressing regional requests and managing stock disposal, shelf-life, and new product rollout activities
- Prepare and facilitate monthly performance reviews with regional teams, analyzing component shortages and coordinating mitigation strategies
- Track and report KPIs related to stockout incidents and supply chain performance metrics
- Lead continuous improvement and cross-functional projects to optimize customer service supply chain processes
Qualifications
- Engineering background in Supply Chain management
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain planning or procurement
- Strong expertise in both upstream procurement and downstream distribution operations
- Proficiency with SAP, Looker, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Fluent in French and English (both required)
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or logistics within a manufacturing or luxury goods environment, with demonstrated proficiency in managing complex spare parts or component supply chains.
Education
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
