Role & Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete software solutions, managing both backend logic (Python, FastAPI) and frontend interfaces (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Build and maintain scalable microservices and REST APIs to expose data and machine learning capabilities across the organization
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to operationalize machine learning models and data pipelines into production workflows
- Maintain robust deployment pipelines (CI/CD, Git) and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE), ensuring system reliability and maintainability
- Ensure all software adheres to group standards, security protocols, and evolving AI governance regulations
- Drive engineering efficiency by creating standardized project templates and reusable libraries to accelerate time-to-market
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related scientific field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in full-stack or backend development
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI or equivalent)
- Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run, GKE) and modern deployment workflows (CI/CD, containerization)
- Ability to operate effectively within large, matrixed organizations and manage diverse stakeholders
- Experience with legacy systems and rapidly evolving technical standards
