Montblanc Shipping Administrator in Hamburg, Germany — customs & export specialist (fixed-term to Aug 2027)
Role & Responsibilities
- Organize worldwide shipping operations including preparation of shipping documents and export documentation (export accompanying document, certificates of origin, CITES certificates)
- Execute customs procedures and monitor export transactions for both EU and non-EU countries
- Communicate with customs authorities, chambers of commerce, federal agencies, and other government bodies; coordinate and notify international customers of shipments via written and telephone communication
- Commission shipments with freight service providers (air, sea, and land transport) and manage returns
- Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding shipping matters and logistics support
Qualifications
- Completed commercial vocational training in wholesale and foreign trade or in forwarding and logistics services
- Minimum 3 years of documented professional experience in customs, shipping, and foreign trade
- Proficiency with SAP and GTS (Global Trade Services)
- Strong English language skills
- Flexibility, problem-solving competency, and quick comprehension abilities
