Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve weekly and monthly store sales targets whilst increasing average basket value (UPT, VPT) and driving cross-selling opportunities
  • Cultivate exceptional relationships with international clients to maintain and enhance client loyalty within current portfolio
  • Establish action plans and strategies to develop the client base, upgrade high-potential clients, and reclaim lost business
  • Develop the client book efficiently through proactive networking and business development activities outside the boutique
  • Engage clients through open questioning, active listening, and consultative selling to ensure repeat business
  • Participate in client events, high-ticket client activations, and strategic business development actions
  • Resolve client issues promptly by investigating root causes, proposing solutions, and escalating roadblocks to hierarchy
  • Welcome clients in boutique, by phone, and via email according to ALAÏA guidance and standards
  • Maintain deep product knowledge of ready-to-wear and accessories, understanding construction and brand narrative
  • Actively participate in team meetings, inventory counts, and daily operations
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are upheld in line with boutique guidance
  • Maintain boutique cleanliness, organisation, and welcoming appearance at all times
  • Manage cashier duties, cash desk operations, deposits, and pre-orders
  • Uphold security protocols and procedures across all operations

Qualifications

  • Established sales experience in luxury fashion and high-end accessories
  • Proven strong client base and track record of clientelling excellence
  • Ready-to-wear orientation with experience in haute couture environments (advantageous)
  • Experience in dress alteration assistance and tailoring support (advantageous)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport easily
  • Warm, friendly personality with natural relationship-building capability
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken); second language advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email
  • Understanding of luxury brand positioning and commitment to brand representation
