Role & Responsibilities
- Drive weekly and monthly store sales targets while increasing average transaction value and unit sales through strategic upselling and cross-selling techniques
- Cultivate and maintain an exceptional portfolio of international clients, implementing tailored retention and development strategies to enhance lifetime value
- Execute comprehensive client relationship management including active listening, needs assessment, and personalized product recommendations to ensure repeat business
- Participate in high-ticket client events and VIP experiences to strengthen brand affinity and expand the clientele base
- Represent ALAÏA's brand identity and grooming standards at all times, maintaining the highest presentation and comportment expectations
- Articulate the construction, design philosophy, and craftsmanship narrative of ALAÏA ready-to-wear and accessories with authority and passion
- Manage point-of-sale operations including cash handling, client database updates, pre-order management, and accurate record-keeping
- Maintain boutique visual merchandising standards in alignment with ALAÏA guidelines, ensuring the space reflects the house's aesthetic integrity
- Proactively identify and resolve client issues by investigating root causes, proposing solutions, and escalating recommendations to senior management
- Participate in team meetings, inventory counts, and operational initiatives as required to support boutique performance
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of established sales experience in luxury fashion, accessories, or ready-to-wear retail
- Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling and clientelling with a proven track record of building and maintaining a high-value client base
- Experience in haute couture or high-end RTW environments preferred
- Proficiency in garment alteration techniques, including dress pinning and fitting adjustments, is highly desirable
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in a second language is advantageous
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and email communication
- Strong interpersonal and active listening skills with ability to build authentic client relationships
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented boutique environment
