Richemont seeks a Senior Project Manager for the L’ÉCOLE Japan Campus in Paris to lead campus development, delivery and operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for the Japan campus, including planning, design coordination, construction, fit-out and commissioning to meet L’ÉCOLE’s pedagogical and brand standards.
  • Define and control project scope, schedule and budget; implement robust governance, milestone reporting and change-control processes.
  • Manage external suppliers, architects, consultants and contractors — overseeing procurement, contract negotiation, performance monitoring and quality assurance.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (pedagogy, brand, facilities, legal, compliance and local authorities) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
  • Translate educational and experiential requirements into technical briefs and workplace standards for studio, workshop and exhibition spaces.
  • Develop and execute risk management plans; anticipate bottlenecks and implement mitigation measures to protect timelines and budget.
  • Recruit, onboard and supervise on-site project staff and third-party vendors during implementation and handover to operations.
  • Prepare executive-level status reports, financial forecasts and post-implementation reviews for Richemont and L’ÉCOLE leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record delivering complex built-environment or campus projects, ideally within luxury, cultural or educational sectors.
  • Formal training in project management, architecture, engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Certified project manager (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience in budget control, contract management and procurement.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Capacity to operate effectively in a bilingual, multicultural environment and manage local regulatory processes in Japan.
