Richemont seeks a Senior POS / Retail Displays Buyer in Paris to lead sourcing, development and supplier partnerships for in‑store display solutions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sourcing and development strategies for POS (PLV/POP) and in‑store display fixtures, aligned with brand visual identity and boutique standards.
  • Manage end‑to‑end product development: briefing, prototyping, testing, production follow‑up and on‑time delivery to global retail and wholesale channels.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and lead times with manufacturers, suppliers and contract workshops while optimising total cost of ownership and quality.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (visual merchandising, retail operations, marketing, logistics and quality assurance) to ensure feasibility and retail readiness.
  • Approve technical specifications, materials, artwork and packaging; ensure compliance with brand guidelines and regulatory constraints.
  • Oversee supplier qualification, performance monitoring and corrective actions; secure continuity of supply and scalability for seasonal launches.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost reporting; propose cost‑saving initiatives and value engineering without compromising brand standards.
  • Integrate sustainability criteria into sourcing decisions, including materials, production processes and end‑of‑life considerations.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in procurement or product development for POS/retail displays, ideally within luxury goods (watches, jewellery, leather goods or fashion).
  • Strong negotiation skills and a track record of supplier management, contract negotiation and cost control for production and fixtures.
  • Excellent project management abilities with experience coordinating international rollouts and multi‑stakeholder programmes.
  • Technical knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, prototyping and finishing techniques relevant to in‑store displays.
  • Fluent written and spoken French and professional working knowledge of English (inferred for a Paris‑based senior role).
  • Demonstrable understanding of sustainability criteria, compliance and quality control in sourcing.
