Cartier seeks a Senior Packaging Quality Manager in Paris to lead packaging standards and risk management initiatives with strategic supplier partnerships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategic quality requirements and risk assessment methodologies for new packaging development and product line extensions, integrating Maison standards, technical constraints, functionality, and brand integrity
- Lead packaging qualification protocols and testing campaigns (internal and external), ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while analyzing results and determining conformity of developed solutions
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with strategic suppliers, providing quality guidance and managing corrective and preventive action plans through regular quality reviews
- Establish and monitor quality performance indicators (KPIs) for packaging and suppliers, driving continuous improvement initiatives and risk prevention across the production chain
- Serve as internal and external packaging quality expert for development, procurement, supply chain, and marketing teams, particularly regarding compliance and risk management
- Participate in eco-design initiatives by integrating quality and environmental performance requirements from initial development phases while assessing associated risks
- Consolidate and maintain rigorous traceability of all technical and quality documentation related to qualifications, homologations, risk analyses, and action plans
- Build department reporting tools for project tracking, budget monitoring, and quality metrics aligned with departmental objectives
- Propose and lead cross-functional projects that enhance departmental performance, from formal project definition through stakeholder coordination and operational implementation
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in packaging quality with advanced technical expertise
- Fluent in French and English
- Proficiency with computer applications and digital tools
- Strong collaborative mindset with excellent listening and team engagement skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively in dynamic environments with meticulous attention to detail
- Proactive, agile, and dynamic professional approach
