Senior Packaging & Subcontracting Buyer at Richemont, Paris. Oversee luxury fragrance procurement and supplier management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for packaging materials and fragrance subcontracting operations
- Manage vendor relationships, conduct negotiations, and establish long-term supply agreements
- Monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery, and cost metrics
- Optimize sourcing decisions to balance cost efficiency with luxury brand standards
- Collaborate with product development, production, and quality assurance teams on specifications and timelines
- Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and sustainability requirements
- Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction
Qualifications
- Minimum 8–10 years of procurement or sourcing experience in luxury goods, FMCG, or related sectors
- Proven expertise in packaging materials procurement and subcontractor management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Knowledge of fragrance/cosmetics supply chains or luxury production environments
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software

Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier networks, negotiating multi-million-euro contracts, and driving continuous improvement in supply chain operations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, engineering, or related field. Advanced qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, or business administration are advantageous.
