Watchfinder seeks Senior Operations FP&A Analyst in West Malling, UK. Drive financial reporting, costing, and process improvement across operations and logistics.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive financial process improvement and reporting initiatives across operations, servicing, and logistics functions across three international sites
- Track inventory levels and valuations, manage reconciliations, and prepare operational reporting on key KPIs against budget
- Perform standard costing and variance analysis (price, volume, mix, efficiency) to enhance financial transparency
- Improve reporting processes and automate recurring analyses to enhance operational efficiency
- Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities across operations and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Support key projects within operations that contribute to overall financial performance improvement
- Prepare accruals, reconciliations, and variance reports on operational metrics versus budget forecasts
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in operational controlling, manufacturing finance, or plant/cost controlling
- Strong grasp of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory and margin movements
- Advanced skills in Excel including complex modelling, pivot tables, and macros/VBA
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Metabase, Tableau, or similar platforms
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to translate data into coherent business narratives
- Experience with SAP FICO is advantageous

Experience
Minimum 5 years in operational controlling, manufacturing finance, plant controlling, cost accounting, product costing, supply chain finance, logistics controlling, or commercial/business analysis roles within industrial or production environments.
Education
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
