Van Cleef & Arpels seeks Senior Manager for Store Planning & Construction in New York to oversee retail construction across the Americas.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all phases of documentation and construction, leading timely project closeouts and liaising with European HQ partners to translate design intent through documentation and construction phases
- Manage external architects, contractors, vendors, and internal brand partners to implement brand design standards and ensure quality compliance across all retail environments
- Track project deadlines, budgets, and deliverables using appropriate budget tools; prepare periodic budget and cash flow forecasts
- Partner with the Procurement team to source and validate vendors, negotiate pricing, and meet spending targets across all project vendors and contractors
- Perform periodic site visits to inspect construction progress and facilitate smooth transitions to retail staff upon boutique opening, including on-site support during launch
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in retail design and construction within luxury environments
- Extensive industry knowledge in architecture, MEP systems, structural design, building codes, permitting, accessibility requirements, and sustainability
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Software
- Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and negotiate project costs with design professionals, general contractors, and specialty contractors
- Ability to travel on location at least 30% of the time

Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of professional experience in retail design and construction within luxury brand environments, with demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects from conception through completion.
Education
Bachelor's Degree required (preferably in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field).

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 135,000 to USD 150,000 per annum.
