Richemont seeks Senior Manager, Store Development & Planning in New York to lead luxury retail expansion strategy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct store development strategy and execution across assigned markets, aligning with brand positioning and financial targets
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate retail locations; manage relationships with landlords and brokers to secure premium sites
- Oversee store design, renovation, and opening processes in collaboration with creative and operations teams
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and demographic data to inform site selection and portfolio optimization
- Develop and manage store development budgets; monitor capital expenditure and return on investment metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams including real estate, design, construction, and merchandising
- Prepare strategic presentations and reports for senior leadership on market opportunities and portfolio performance
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in retail real estate, store development, or property management
- Proven track record leading successful store openings and portfolio expansion in luxury or premium retail
- Strong commercial negotiation skills and experience managing complex lease agreements
- Working knowledge of retail design standards, construction management, and build-out timelines
- Financial acumen with ability to analyze ROI, feasibility studies, and capital allocation
