Richemont seeks Senior Manager, Regional Business Risk & Compliance in Hong Kong leading North Asia governance, compliance and risk across luxury retail operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and implement the regional Business Risk & Compliance roadmap in alignment with Maison and Regional priorities
- Promote a culture of integrity, accountability and risk awareness throughout the organization
- Identify, assess and monitor operational, commercial and reputational risks across the region
- Maintain regional risk registers and ensure mitigation plans are effectively implemented
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to the Director of Retail Excellence and Regional Leadership
- Lead the review, optimization and governance of Standard Operating Procedures to balance operational efficiency with compliance requirements
- Ensure boutiques and Points of Sale consistently operate in accordance with Cartier standards
- Standardize operational practices across Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
- Develop and execute the regional boutique and POS compliance audit programme
- Conduct operational reviews, stock verification and control testing
- Review supporting documentation and monitor remediation of audit findings
- Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions in partnership with business stakeholders
- Partner with International teams and Maison functions to ensure product and inventory compliance throughout the region
- Monitor inventory governance, stock movements and high-value product controls
- Support inventory compliance during boutique openings, transfers, renovations and closures
- Maintain sound understanding of local regulatory and compliance requirements across Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure full compliance with local legislation and Group policies
- Support investigations relating to employee complaints, misconduct and policy breaches in boutiques
- Partner with Commercial and Retail Operations teams to ensure governance over pricing, promotions, commercial approvals and operational processes
- Act as the Business Risk & Compliance representative for regional transformation initiatives
- Lead or coordinate investigations involving operational incidents, inventory discrepancies, fraud and policy violations
- Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor operational compliance, audit results, inventory accuracy, incident trends and key risk indicators
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business risk management, compliance and operational governance within luxury retail or multinational organizations
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in Hong Kong, Macau and/or Taiwan
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive compliance culture
- Experience developing and implementing audit programmes and control frameworks
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and incident investigation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit or operational governance, preferably within luxury retail, jewelry, watches or high-end accessories sectors. Demonstrated track record of managing multi-regional compliance programmes and leading teams in Asia-Pacific markets.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Risk Management or related discipline; professional qualifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), CRMA (Certified Risk Management Assurance) or equivalent compliance certifications are highly valued.
