Richemont seeks Senior Manager, Procurement Excellence in New York—lead procurement operations, governance, and continuous improvement for the Americas region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build sustainable systems, disciplines, and capabilities for high-performing procurement and sourcing outcomes across the Americas region
- Design, document, and continuously improve standard procurement processes, policies, and controls whilst maintaining governance rigor without bureaucratic impediment
- Champion the optimization and performance of Ariba SLP and Ariba Buyer across the region; design workflows, templates, and approval structures that reduce friction and improve compliance
- Build and maintain a suite of procurement KPIs and executive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into savings delivery, compliance rates, cycle times, and supplier performance
- Lead and develop a small team of procurement operations professionals for purchase order and vendor management; cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and analytical rigor
- Design and deliver structured procurement training programs that build functional capability across the buyer community, covering sourcing fundamentals, P2P processes, policy compliance, and systems proficiency
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and P2P processes, systematically identifying friction points, eliminating non-value-added steps, and embedding Lean discipline into the team's operating rhythm
- Serve as the definitive internal authority on procurement process questions, escalations, and improvement priorities across the Americas
- Collaborate with Richemont HQ to effectively implement global sourcing strategies tailored for the Americas region
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive procurement, procurement operations, or sourcing excellence experience in a complex, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement initiatives that reduced cycle time, improved compliance, or generated measurable, finance-validated cost savings
- Prior people leadership with a record of developing and elevating early-career procurement professionals
- Hands-on experience supporting or leading procurement system implementations—Ariba SLP and/or Ariba Buyer strongly preferred
- Meaningful exposure to highly regulated industries or those with stringent compliance requirements, such as luxury retail, financial services, or similar sectors with complex procurement policy obligations
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and digital tools to improve procurement execution, automate routine activities, enhance reporting, insights, and stakeholder support
- CPSM, CPPO, Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above), or equivalent process improvement certification
- Experience operating across multi-country Americas environments—US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil

">7 years of progressive procurement, procurement operations, or sourcing excellence experience in complex, matrixed organizations. Demonstrated success leading process improvement initiatives that delivered measurable, finance-validated savings and reduced operational cycle times. Proven track record of developing and elevating early-career procurement professionals. Hands-on experience with procurement system implementations, particularly Ariba SLP and Ariba Buyer, is strongly preferred. Meaningful exposure to highly regulated industries—such as luxury retail or financial services—with stringent compliance requirements.
