Richemont seeks Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial for Americas region in New York. Advise on commercial transactions, contracts, and luxury sector compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level legal counsel on commercial transactions, contracts, and regulatory compliance across the Americas region
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including distribution, licensing, and supply contracts
- Advise senior management and cross-functional teams on legal risk mitigation and commercial strategy
- Oversee compliance with luxury sector-specific regulations and brand protection requirements
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and coordinate multi-jurisdictional legal matters
- Support merger, acquisition, and commercial partnership initiatives
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree
- Licensed to practice law in New York or another U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial law and legal counsel
- Demonstrated expertise in luxury goods, fashion, or retail commercial matters
- Strong knowledge of international commercial law and cross-border transactions

Experience
Minimum 10 years of progressively senior experience in commercial legal counsel roles, with substantial exposure to luxury goods, fashion, retail, or related sectors. Prior experience advising on complex commercial transactions, brand protection, and regulatory compliance in international markets is highly valued.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent accredited law degree; active bar admission in the United States required.
