Richemont Senior IT Officer in Kuala Lumpur: Lead IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN networks, servers, storage, backups, and security systems
  • Lead and manage Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system-related issues, user queries, and SAP support with customer-focused approach
  • Supervise configuration, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment, computers, peripherals, software, and mobile devices
  • Manage hardware and software inventory, including planning and executing hardware refresh cycles and asset lifecycle optimization
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT operational procedures, policies, and reports to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure strict adherence to company IT policies, security protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff and external support teams
  • Lead planning and execution of IT project deployments in office and boutique environments, ensuring on-time, on-scope, on-budget delivery
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying and evaluating new technologies to address local business challenges
  • Oversee delivery of training on IT infrastructure and applications to promote user adoption
  • Collaborate with Regional Digital Development team as key local liaison for requirements and product rollouts
  • Manage and optimize IT procurement processes, including purchase orders, goods receipt verification, and invoice tracking
  • Lead vendor relationship management, negotiate SLAs, and conduct cost-benefit analysis for IT procurements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in IT roles with demonstrated ability to manage IT operations independently or in a lead capacity
  • Proven expertise in IT infrastructure management, helpdesk operations, and successful project delivery
  • Strong experience in Windows environments, including Office 365, SharePoint, and AWS
  • Experience with Retail Point-of-Sales (POS) systems and SAP highly desirable
  • Advanced understanding of networking protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, FTP, Proxy)
  • Proficiency in IT service management frameworks; ITIL certification highly preferred
  • Experience with cloud platforms, automation tools (Power BI, Power Automate, RPA), and cybersecurity best practices
  • Knowledge of Cisco Meraki advantageous
