Richemont Senior HR Manager, People Operations & Compliance – Singapore. Lead HR transformation, payroll and compliance across South Asia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive data governance and HR data quality across systems to support enterprise decision-making
- Lead delivery of end-to-end HR operations ensuring exceptional employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Ensure HR operational processes comply with local employment legislation, regulatory requirements, internal controls and company policies
- Oversee timely, accurate and compliant execution of high-volume HR transactions whilst maintaining strong operational controls, audit readiness and risk mitigation
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, Payroll, HRIS and other stakeholders to enable seamless HR service delivery
- Design, standardize and continuously improve HR operational processes, policies, standard operating procedures and documentation to enhance consistency, efficiency and service quality
- Lead regional HR transformation initiatives including cross-Maison and corporate function process harmonisation, HR operating model integration, digitalisation and organisational change management
- Oversee regional expatriate and international assignment administration ensuring seamless employee experience throughout the relocation lifecycle
- Coordinate relocation logistics including immigration support, temporary accommodation, relocation arrangements, orientation, schooling assistance and mobility services
- Manage payroll operations to ensure accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing across supported markets
- Review and validate payroll outputs, statutory submissions, commissions and salary-related payments whilst ensuring appropriate governance and controls
- Lead annual compensation operational activities including salary reviews, bonus payments and related administration
- Oversee employment tax reporting and ensure timely resolution of payroll and tax-related employee enquiries
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing People Operations team fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Establish clear performance expectations, monitor operational KPIs and service level agreements, and implement improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 9 years of hands-on HR experience primarily in HR operations management
- Degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent qualification
- Profound knowledge of full-spectrum HR operations, payroll, compensation and benefits, and HRIS systems
- Strong knowledge of Singapore employment legislation, Central Provident Fund (CPF) and Income Tax laws
- Experience in grievance handling, disciplinary procedures and employee relations
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with practical application and make independent decisions
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with ability to lead, coach and mentor team members
- Proficiency in managing conflicting priorities and delivering results in fast-paced environments
Skills
Experience
Minimum 9 years of hands-on HR operations management experience, including payroll administration, compensation and benefits operations, and employee lifecycle management. Demonstrated experience leading HR transformation initiatives and managing cross-functional teams in a multi-country environment is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent discipline.
