Montblanc seeks a Senior FP&A Controller – Finance Digitalization in Hamburg. Lead financial planning, reporting automation, and BI transformation with Looker and Power BI expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and strategic planning processes with cross-functional stakeholders
- Analyze financial performance across profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and manage key balance sheet accounts including working capital, inventory, receivables, payables, provisions, and capital expenditures
- Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and management reporting
- Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable business insights to executive leadership
- Support strategic decision-making through financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Serve as deputy to the Head of FP&A when required
- Act as primary interface between Finance and Data teams
- Translate finance reporting requirements into technical specifications for BI platforms
- Lead the design and enhancement of financial dashboards using Looker, Power BI, and similar platforms
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of professional experience in FP&A, Controlling, Business Intelligence, or Finance Transformation
- Demonstrated experience leading finance reporting automation projects
- Strong understanding of financial planning and management reporting
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Hands-on proficiency with Looker, Power BI, SAP, or comparable BI tools
- Deep expertise in data models, KPIs, and reporting architecture
Skills
Experience
8–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, controlling, business intelligence, or finance transformation roles, with demonstrated success leading finance reporting automation and digital transformation projects.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification; CPA, CIMA, or similar advanced finance certification preferred.
