Richemont seeks a Senior Designer – Tailoring in London to lead bespoke garment design and craftsmanship excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and design of tailored garment collections, from initial sketches to final production specifications
- Develop and refine pattern-making techniques to enhance fit, comfort, and aesthetic sophistication
- Collaborate with pattern makers, cutters, and artisanal workshops to ensure flawless execution of designs
- Oversee sample production and conduct rigorous quality assessments at each development stage
- Advise on material selection, construction methods, and finishing techniques to optimize durability and luxury appeal
- Mentor junior design staff and contribute to the continuous evolution of tailoring standards
- Stay abreast of contemporary tailoring trends while preserving heritage craftsmanship techniques
Qualifications
- Demonstrable expertise in tailoring design and garment construction
- Extensive experience leading design teams or similar high-responsibility design role
