Richemont seeks a Senior Client Advisor in New York — deliver VIP service, drive sales and manage client relationships for a luxury maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Cultivate and manage long‑term relationships with high‑net‑worth and repeat clients, delivering personalised service and bespoke shopping experiences.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive outreach, private appointments and VIP events.
- Provide expert product knowledge and advisory selling across watches, jewellery or leather accessories, tailored to client preferences and acquisition cycles.
- Maintain and update client records in the CRM, track leads, follow up on opportunities and coordinate after‑sales and servicing referrals.
- Support visual merchandising standards, boutique presentation and inventory controls to protect stock and maximise sell‑through.
- Collaborate with store leadership on promotions, client events and stock allocation; mentor and train junior advisors as required.
- Execute point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies, cash handling and loss‑prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven luxury retail sales experience, typically 4–7+ years, preferably within watches, jewellery or premium accessories.
- Demonstrable track record of selling high‑value items and managing VIP clientele.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a consultative, client‑first approach and high level of discretion.
- Strong organisational ability, attention to detail and aptitude for relationship management via CRM.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Typically 4–7 years of direct luxury retail or boutique sales experience with proven success engaging HNW clients and meeting sales KPIs; previous experience mentoring junior sales staff or leading client projects is advantageous.
