Senior Analyst - Gemology Laboratory role at Richemont in Paris. Lead gemological analysis and precious stone authentication.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced gemological analysis and authentication testing on precious stones and materials
- Operate specialized gemology equipment and instrumentation (e.g., spectroscopy, microscopy, density analysis)
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and certificates for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain detailed records of analyses and ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and quality standards
- Contribute to the development and refinement of gemological procedures and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and authentication departments
- Provide expert guidance and consultation on gemstone authenticity and grading
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Gemology, Materials Science, or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in gemological analysis or laboratory work
