Senior Accounting & Reporting Specialist at Richemont, Milan. IFRS and Italian GAAP expertise required. €45K–€52K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support preparation of monthly Reporting Packages in compliance with Group Principles and IFRS standards
- Prepare and support statutory financial statements for Group entities
- Manage internal control activities on reporting activities and ensure accuracy
- Cooperate with internal and external auditors on financial compliance matters
- Monitor intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies for reporting purposes
- Perform accounting controls and reconciliations across all ledgers
- Manage general accounting records including accruals, deferrals, and accounting reclassifications
- Support accounting management of fixed assets and intangible assets, including recording, depreciation, and compliance with Group policies
- Actively participate in strategic financial projects to accelerate closing timelines and improve efficiency
- Collaborate on design and implementation of standardized Group Closing Checklists and workflows
- Engage in process mapping interviews and workshops to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Support harmonization of accounting practices across Group entities
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Degree or Bachelor's in Economics or Business Administration
- 5+ years of experience in General Accounting and/or Controlling, complemented by audit background
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments (preferred)
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- SAP knowledge (preferred)
- Familiarity with process automation tools or project management software (preferred)
Skills
Experience
5+ years of experience in General Accounting and/or Controlling, complemented by a background in Audit. Experience in manufacturing or production environments is preferred.
Education
Degree or Bachelor's in Economics or Business Administration

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 45,000 to EUR 52,000 per annum.
