Richemont seeks a Senior Accountant in Tokyo to manage financial operations, oversee accounting teams, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and financial record-keeping for the organization
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and general ledger accounts
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting procedures and best practices
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Monitor budget performance and analyze variances against actual expenditures
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems
- Strong understanding of IFRS or GAAP accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience

5–8 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate finance environment, with demonstrated capability in managing accounting operations and supervising junior staff.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
