Richemont seeks a Security Systems Project Manager in Tokyo to lead security infrastructure upgrades across Japan boutiques. Full-time role managing CCTV, access control, vendor procurement, and SharePoint digital infrastructure.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end tendering process for standardized security systems across all Japan boutiques, including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, panic buttons, and related equipment
  • Develop comprehensive tender documentation including scope of works, technical specifications, and vendor evaluation criteria
  • Benchmark existing security equipment across boutique locations and define standardized specifications that meet both Richemont group standards and Japanese regulatory requirements
  • Shortlist, evaluate, and negotiate with security vendors and system integrators; present recommendations to senior leadership
  • Coordinate procurement timelines, budgets, and contracts through successful delivery and sign-off
  • Build and maintain a detailed project plan covering all boutique locations with timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk management
  • Oversee phased rollout of standardized security equipment, ensuring quality and consistency across the network
  • Conduct post-installation reviews and sign-off inspections at each location
  • Develop handover documentation, user guides, and training materials for boutique teams
  • Track and report project status, budget expenditure, and issues to the Japan PS&HSE Director
  • Design, build, and maintain a SharePoint-based intranet hub centralizing security policies, procedures, vendor contacts, equipment records, and training materials
  • Coordinate site surveys and installation scheduling with vendors and boutique teams to minimize operational disruption
  • Serve as primary liaison between the security project and boutique managers, maison stakeholders, IT, and senior leadership
  • Produce clear, professional project updates, presentations, and reports tailored to diverse audiences
  • Facilitate workshops and briefing sessions to align stakeholders on timelines, expectations, and responsibilities
  • Ensure all security systems comply with Japanese building codes, fire safety regulations, and Richemont global standards
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment installations, warranties, maintenance schedules, and vendor service level agreements
  • Support periodic security audits and coordinate remediation actions

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience with a proven track record of delivering technology or infrastructure projects on time and within budget
  • Solid understanding of physical security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, and safes
  • Strong hands-on proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint; able to design, build, and maintain sites independently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications: Teams, Planner, Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally Power Automate or Forms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present clearly to senior stakeholders and engage effectively with frontline teams
  • Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
  • Japanese language proficiency; familiarity with Japanese business culture and vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of Japanese regulatory requirements related to security systems and commercial premises
  • Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or similar premium consumer environments
  • Project management qualification
  • Experience with security system vendors operating in the Japanese market
