Richemont is hiring a Security Systems Project Manager in Tokyo to oversee security system design, installation and commissioning across boutiques and facilities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of security systems projects (design, specification, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover) across boutiques, offices and operational sites in the Tokyo region and Japan.
- Define technical scope and prepare tender documentation; evaluate vendor bids and manage contract negotiations and procurement.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders — property, facilities, IT, retail operations, external consultants and local authorities — to ensure programme alignment and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and risk registers; track progress with milestone reporting and change-control processes.
- Oversee on-site installation, integration and testing activities, including FAT/SAT and punch-list resolution, and certify final acceptance.
- Manage third-party integrators and subcontractors; enforce quality, H&S and site security standards throughout delivery.
- Ensure systems interoperability with IT networks, BMS and life-safety systems and establish robust maintenance and spare-parts strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, as-built drawings and O&M manuals; provide training and handover to in-house maintenance teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering, information technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional project management certification preferred (PMP, Prince2) and security credentials advantageous (CPP, PSP).
- Proven record of managing medium to large-scale security systems projects in commercial, retail or corporate facilities.
- Demonstrable experience with procurement, contract management and vendor performance oversight.
- Sound knowledge of commissioning, testing procedures (FAT/SAT) and operational handover practices.

Manager level: minimum 5 years’ experience delivering security systems projects; Senior Manager level: typically 8+ years with proven leadership of multi-site programmes and cross-functional stakeholder management in retail, corporate or industrial environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information technology, security management or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
