Richemont Security Manager role in Munich overseeing boutique security operations across Northern Europe. Full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee operational security for all assigned boutiques and locations across Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic
- Conduct regular site visits to assess security needs and advise boutique management and business functions on location-specific security matters
- Evaluate threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities; recommend and implement effective protective measures
- Develop security concepts for new store openings and renovations; evaluate technical security systems including alarm, access control, and video surveillance
- Develop and refine security standards, processes, and policies; verify effectiveness through risk assessments, compliance audits, and real-world tests
- Plan and execute security concepts for special events
- Manage external security service providers; assess performance, quality, and contract compliance through structured reviews
- Support incident and crisis management; conduct investigations, prepare reports, and derive actionable remedial measures
- Design and lead security training, instruction, and awareness programs
- Serve as fire safety officer; oversee inspections, evacuation drills, and follow-up actions
- Collaborate closely with authorities, emergency services, and internal departments; support regional projects across Northern Europe
Qualifications
- Minimum five years' experience in comparable security role, preferably in retail, luxury goods, or international corporate environment
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or related discipline, OR equivalent qualification such as Meister für Schutz und Sicherheit
- Proficiency in physical security and technical security systems, particularly alarm systems, access control, video surveillance, and alarm management
- Fluent German and good English
- Valid Class B driver's license
- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 60%)
- Availability for on-call duty on a rotating basis outside business hours
- Fire safety officer qualification (or willingness to obtain promptly) is a plus
- Experience in workplace health and safety is advantageous

Education
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or equivalent discipline; alternatively, Meister für Schutz und Sicherheit (Master of Protection and Security) or comparable qualification.
