Richemont seeks a Scrum Master in Moscavide, Portugal to lead Agile teams on global e-commerce platforms. Full-time role requiring 3+ years experience and CSM/PSM certification.
Role & Responsibilities
- Mentor team members on Agile values, principles, and Scrum best practices
- Support team self-management and self-organization whilst ensuring adherence to team agreements
- Establish, track, and communicate Agile metrics including velocity, burndown charts, and sprint progress
- Assist the Product Owner and Tech Lead in release planning, defining scope and timelines
- Groom and prioritize the product backlog to ensure actionable, well-defined items
- Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Improve transparency and communication between development teams and stakeholders
- Proactively identify and resolve impediments to ensure sprint goals are met
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums to align cross-team collaboration and objectives
- Support preparation for Quarterly Alignment Days
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in large-scale, global e-commerce projects
- 3+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in software development environments
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and additional Agile methodologies (SAFe experience is advantageous)
- Proficiency with Agile tools, particularly JIRA and Confluence
- Familiarity with Agile techniques including Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Testing
- Basic knowledge of Release Management practices including code branching and versioning
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Scrum Master experience in software development environments, with demonstrated expertise in large, global e-commerce projects. Prior experience as a Software Engineer or Project Manager is advantageous. Proven track record of mentoring development teams and working effectively in distributed, fast-paced environments across multiple time zones.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I) or equivalent certification is required.
