Richemont seeks an SAP Platform Architect in Meyrin, Switzerland to design and govern global SAP landscapes across S/4HANA and BTP for luxury Maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and drive the architectural direction of the SAP platform across Core Architecture, BTP, and development functions, including strategic decisions on use cases for BTP, federated platforms, ERP/EWM decoupling, and continuous S/4HANA evolution
- Lead the OSBF Design Authority and promote Clean Core principles alongside SAP's extensibility strategy (side-by-side vs. in-app extensions) to minimize custom code and maximize standardization
- Conduct architecture reviews for all significant developments and guide product teams on appropriate extensibility patterns for each use case
- Develop and publish Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and reference architectures that establish reusable patterns for API design, event-driven integration, data models, and Fiori applications
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and cross-functional teams on platform governance, disaster recovery design, CI/CD practices, and technology alignment across the group
- Participate in design reviews, establish and animate an Architect Community across product teams, and ensure continuous alignment with SAP product roadmaps
- Integrate Richemont's AI strategy into the platform roadmap and design, and provide direction on data lifecycle, archiving, and application retirement strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in SAP ecosystems with deep expertise in S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and hybrid integration landscapes
- 3+ years in an SAP platform architecture role
- Deep understanding of S/4HANA architecture, Clean Core methodology, custom code analysis tools (ATC, Custom Code Migration app), and extensibility options (BAdIs, RAP, key-user extensibility)
- Strong knowledge of SAP BTP service portfolio including CAP, Integration Suite, SAP Build Work Zone, HANA Cloud, AI Core, Event Mesh, and Destination & Connectivity services
- Proven expertise in API-first design, event-driven architecture, side-by-side extensions, and Fiori/UX architecture
- Solid understanding of SAML 2.0, OIDC, SSO, and identity management concepts
- Understanding of the RISE with SAP operating model and SAP Cloud ALM

10+ years of progressive experience in SAP ecosystems with deep expertise across S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and hybrid integration landscapes; 3+ years in an SAP platform architecture role with demonstrated success in establishing architectural governance, managing complex technical transformations, and leading cross-functional architectural initiatives.
Education
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience in enterprise architecture and SAP platform design.
