Role & Responsibilities
- Lead design, configuration and optimisation of SAP ECC Materials Management (MM) processes across procurement, inventory and master data domains.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution blueprints, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Drive end-to-end implementation activities: build, test, deploy and stabilise MM functionality, including integrations with Finance, SD and external systems.
- Provide senior-level support and troubleshooting for production incidents, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Author and maintain functional documentation, process flows and configuration guides; ensure rigorous change-control and release practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (procurement, logistics, finance, retail operations) and third-party integrators to deliver projects on schedule.
- Coach and mentor junior consultants and participate in knowledge-transfer and training activities for business users.
- Contribute to roadmap planning for ERP optimisation, upgrades and migration preparedness (e.g., future S/4HANA considerations).
Qualifications
- SAP certification in MM or equivalent demonstrable expertise in SAP ECC Materials Management.
- Proven senior-level experience in configuration and delivery of SAP ECC/MM (typically 5+ years) on multi-country deployments.
- Strong understanding of procure-to-pay, inventory management, material master and master-data governance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, prepare functional specifications and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and issue resolution.
- Fluent English and strong communication skills for a multi‑national, matrixed environment.

Track record of leading functional streams, resolving complex integration issues, and delivering ERP solutions for procurement, inventory and master-data processes—preferably within retail, distribution or manufacturing environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
